It all starts right here. A couples shoot is a fun casual catch up and a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. It's also the chance to get rid of any fear of being in front of the camera, have a good laugh and put your mind at rest.
Of course, you absolutely don't have to be engaged to get some stunning photos of you and your partner. In the UK we're blessed with so many amazing locations. A trip to the coast, a walk through woods, a night on the town, the possibilities are endless.
My couples sessions typically last around 2 hours and we can visit 2 locations. All my wedding couples are entitled to a free pre-wedding session.

It's fair to say I was pretty nervous about meeting them, photographing a couple I'd never actually met in person. I know it should be my job to make the couple feel at ease and comfortable but really, they were doing all that for me! I can't thank them enough for making my job so much fun. I really can't wait to photograph their wedding next year.

WEDDINGS
Weddings are all about family, friends and fun! Congregating and celebrating with your best mates, your loved ones and even your four legged friends! I love capturing moments where everyone is just having fun!
How do I work?
It's pretty simple,
I get stuck in. I work super hard all day. I have fun.
I dress smart, I look the part and I promise you will never see me at a wedding in jeans and trainers! I blend in with your guests.
THE MORNING I usually arrive at least 2 hours before the ceremony. I start by getting the little details, those important shots that complete the collection, the shoes, the rings, the dress. I'll take a little time to get some shots of the venue before everyone arrives. Then it's all about capturing the pre-wedding excitement between you and your getting ready team, and maybe a few nerves too!
THE CEREMONY My aim is to be discreet, you're the centre of attention and I'm not there to distract from that. I'll capture the ceremony from the front of the venue, this means I can also catch the family reactions. Towards the end of the ceremony I sneak to the back of the venue to make sure I'm in position to catch the newly weds heading down the aisle.
Food & Fizz One of my favourite parts of the day. I hang back, out of the way. Capturing genuine congratulatory moments between you and your friends and family. This is the time where we'll also sneak off to get some family shots and couple photos in a pretty spot. If you're not comfortable posing in front of the lens, no problem! Some of my fav shots are the ones where you don't even know I'm taking them, they're natural and fun. A simple walk around the grounds of the venue, hand in hand, will create some killer shots! If on the other hand, you like all the fuss and want to re-create your favourite magazine shoot, we can do that too! It's your day and you're in charge.
THE SPEECHES I mainly focus on the speakers and the reactions. Hopefully there's more laughs and tears than too much cringing! After the meal, I'll come find you and drag you away very briefly for one more quick couples session in a new location, it's a great opportuntiy for you to have a breather too.
THE DANCING I make sure I'm there for the first dance, and then of course ready for all your friends and family to flood the dancefloor. After this, I make sure I'm snapping away. When the time is right, I'll slip away and leave you to enjoy the rest of your night, with the safety that knowing not everything is being photographed!
